Boys,

Job well done in our first contest last night…and at a venue that is often hard to adjust to with the field dimensions and all. Now, we can certainly get a lot better from here on out (and Hudsonville, our next opponent, is strong), but I like the road we are already on.

Let's keep this thing rolling!

Updates/Reminders:

**Practice today 3-5 PM….wear black.
**Practice tomorrow 9-11 AM instead of 10-noon….wear gold.
**Practice on Labor Day (required) 5-7 PM….wear black.
**Check your respective hudl accounts when you can as there should be game footage posted soon. You'll have to scroll through a bunch of JV clips in order to get to our game. WATCH, REFLECT, AND LEARN!

A few things...

Congrats to Hunter Smith, Dayton Pax, and Connor Gutuescu for being elected by their peers as team captains for this season. Well done, boys!

Check out the newly updated "TEAM GOALS" section below and to the left. Thanks for your input today in my classroom. Much appreciated. We will review these often!

Finally, some reminders/updates:

**A few of you still need to sign up on hurl accounts. Please check email asap!

**Team pics tomorrow at 930…wear all white…black team shirts for practice. Speaking of team shirts, I have one black shirt (large) that was left on the bench on Friday after the scrimmage. I also have a pair of black/red sandals left behind on Friday. Let me know!

**Bus leaves promptly at 4 PM on Wednesday for Allegan. All players are required to ride the bus to AND from all away games this season. FYI.

**I'm hoping everyone is ok with a 9-11 AM practice this coming Friday instead of 10-noon? Let me know if you have any issues with this please and we can stick with the original schedule if needed!
