Recap: In the first official contest of the season, Hamilton yielded two late goals to allow the visiting River Rats to earn the draw. Both teams had quality chances throughout, and Black River grabbed hold of momentum late to pull even. Hamilton is now 0-0-1 on the season.

Recap: In the first ever game on Hamilton's new turf field, regional rivals Allegan and Hamilton battled to a 2-2 tie. Hamilton took a 1-0 lead into halftime only to see Allegan pump in two long ball goals in the second half to take the lead. The Hawkeyes leveled with a penalty kick goal with about 15 minutes left in the game as both teams continued to battle until the end in a physical game. Hamilton is now 0-0-2 on the season heading into conference play next week.

Recap: Holland handled Hamilton in the first conference game of the season. The Hawkeye hosts improved throughout the game but were out-done by a talented Dutch team in the end. Hamilton is now 0-1-2 (0-1 OK Green) on the season.

Recap: Hamilton overcame a 1 goal halftime deficit to bounce back with a well-earned character win--it's first of the season. The Hawkeyes scored 2 goals in the second half--the last with under 10 minutes remaining in the game. Hamilton is now 1-1-2 on the season (1-1 OK Green).

9/5        @ Holland Christian      L (3-0)      (Mikah Sengmany; 11 saves)

Recap: In its first away game of the season, Hamilton stumbled against an OK Green foe. The chances on net and overall possession of the ball in the game were mostly even with the home team having the slight advantage. In the end, the Maroons were able to better capitalize on their offensive chances to pull out the win. Hamilton is now 1-2 in the OK Green and 1-2-2 overall.

Recap: A short-handed Hamilton squad gutted out a win away from home with a corner kick goal and heady, tough defensive play in the second half of the non-conference contest.  Hamilton is now 2-2-2 overall on the season.

Recap: Hamilton played an overall strong game away while not allowing any real shots on net by the opponent and pumping in three of its own on the night for the OK Green conference win. Jacob Shelton tallied the lone goal in the first half for the Hawkeyes. Logan Hilldore finished off a corner kick scramble with a long range goal in the second half, and Dylan Taylor finished the Hamilton scoring with a breakaway goal sent through with an assist from teammate Caden Klanderman. Hamilton is now 3-2-2 overall on the season and 2-2 in the conference.

Recap: Hamilton controlled play for the most part, scored a goal in each half, and earned a valuable OK Green conference victory over Zeeland East. Brady Gillbert and Nolan Dowker had the goals, Dylan Taylor assisted on the latter, and Mikah Sengmany finished with 4 saves in net for the Hawkeyes' third shutout in a row. Hamilton is now 4-2-2 on the season (3-2 OK Green).

Recap: Hamilton won this non-conference match to increase their winning streak and shutout streak to 4 games in a row. Dylan Taylor scored all 3 goals for Hamilton while Caden Klanderman chipped in with an assist. Mikah Sengmany earned yet another shutout with 5 saves in net. Hamilton is now 5-2-2 overall.

Recap: Hamilton battled all evening against a tough opponent on their home field but came away with an OK Green conference loss. Mikah Sengmany finished with 12 saves in net for the Hawkeyes. Hamilton is now 5-3-2 overall on the season and 3-3 in the OK Green conference.

Recap: In an up-and-down, evenly-matched affair, Hamilton came up just short against a talented Holland team. Both teams had solid chances on net throughout the match, and Holland was able to finish one of theirs late in the first half to squeak out the win. Mikah Sengmany finished with 9 saves for Hamilton. The Hawkeyes are now 5-4-2 overall on the season and 3-4 in the OK Green.

Recap: Hamilton pulled out a gritty win on the road against a solid Byron Center squad. Chances on net were mostly even throughout, but the Hawkeyes managed to finish one 10 minutes into the second half and then held strong defensively the rest of the way. Brady Gilbert assisted on the Dylan Taylor goal for Hamilton while Mikah Sengmany finished with 8 saves in net. Hamilton is now 6-4-2 overall and 4-4 in the OK Green.

Recap: It was a tale of two halves: H.C. mostly owned the first half while tallying a goal, while Hamilton controlled the second half although unable to finish on net despite a handful of quality chances. It's another step in the right direction for the Hawkeyes overall. Mikah Sengmany finished with 9 saves in net for the home team. Hamilton is now 6-5-2 overall and 4-5 in the OK Green.

Recap: A chippy contest yielded a win for the visiting Hawkeyes, but many other lessons were learned throughout. Dylan Taylor and Riley Coffey scored for the Hawkeyes while Brady Gilbert had an assist. Mikah Sengmany finished with 5 saves in net for the visiting Hawkeyes. Hamilton is now 7-5-2 overall on the season.

Recap: On Hamilton Youth Soccer Night, Hamilton and Zeeland West battled to a conference tie with all goals coming in an up and down first half. Hamilton dealt with some bad luck with an "own goal" to go down a goal first and then equalized. The Dux responded with a well-earned goal to go up a goal again but the Hawkeyes responded to draw even at the half. Hamilton owned possession and chances in the second half but could not finish on net. Brady Gilbert and Caden Klanderman had the Hamilton goals while Mikah Sengmany finished with 8 saves in net. Hamilton is now 7-5-3 overall and 4-5-1 in the OK Green.

10/9     @ Zeeland East      T (2-2)     (Dylan Taylor; 1 goal...Mikah Sengmany; 7 saves)

Recap: In a dress rehearsal of sorts for the upcoming District Quarterfinal to be played at the same location against the same team, the Hawkeyes and the Chix battled it out evenly all game long. Both teams scored in the first half. And the up-and-down second half produced quite the thrilling last minute of the contest: a penalty kick goal by Zeeland East with 36 seconds left on the clock and then an immediate answer from Hamilton with an "own goal" in the Chix net off a contested header in the goal box with 9 seconds remaining. Dylan Taylor scored for Hamilton while Mikah Sengmany finished with 7 saves in net. Hamilton is now 7-5-4 overall on the season and 4-5-2 in the OK Green.

10/11      vs. Unity       L (3-0)       (Mikah Sengmany; 10 saves)

Recap: Hamilton battled hard but lost to a top-ranked team on its Senior Day. Mikah Sengmany finished with 10 saves for the Hawkeyes. Hamilton finishes the regular season with a 7-6-4 overall record and a 4-6-2 record in the OK Green Conference (4th place) heading into the District playoffs.

10/17     @ Zeeland East     L (2-1)      (Riley Coffey; 1 goal...Mikah Sengmany; 8 saves)

Recap: Hamilton lost to Zeeland East in this District Quarterfinal game. The Hawkeyes could not hold a 1-0 lead at halftime while the Chix netted a penalty kick goal early in the second half and another goal during the run of play with 12 minutes left in the contest. Despite some quality chances on net, Hamilton could not even the score in the end. Hamilton's season ends with an overall record of 7-7-4.
